Tickets are now on sale for the Trenton (NJ) and Allentown (PA)?Indoor auto racing events, promoted by Len Sammons Motorsports Productions (LSMP).
The Battle Of Trenton is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, December 9-10.
The Allentown Indoor event presented by Ironton Telephone is slated for Friday and Saturday, December 30-31. Interesting to see that an auto racing event is being planned for New Year’s Eve but it has been done successfully in other parts of the country.
“The best seats sell out quickly for these races,” warned LSMP’s Len Sammons. “The sooner folks order their race tickets for these events, the better opportunity they will have to get closer to the action.”
The Trenton event, now in its fifth running, is held at Sun National Bank Center in the New Jersey state capital. Featured are the TQ?Midgets that will run full programs each night. Champ Karts and Slingshots will be racing on Friday and Saturday night respectively.
The Allentown race, run at PPL Center in downtown Allentown, Pa., will feature the same schedule: TQs both nights and Champ Karts and Slingshots as the second class on respective nights.
Demand for tickets for the Allentown races is expected to be particularly heavy. The event was a complete sellout last year and has been expanded from one to two days for this year’s running.
“All of our races had excellent turnouts last year but the Allentown race was a true sellout,” Sammons said. “Reserving tickets in advance isn’t a must but for this race it is strongly advised.”
Erick?Rudolph of Ransomville. N.Y. won last year’s TQ?Battle of Trenton. Chris Daley of Pleasant Valley, N.Y. was the Champ Kart winner.

Rudolph, the Indoor Auto Racing Championship Fueled By VP Racing series 2015-2016 champion, was also the winner of the inaugural Allentown TQ?Indoor race. Eddie Reeder won the companion Slingshot main event.

Ticket ordering information for the Gamblers Classic at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J., scheduled for Friday and Saturday, January 27-28, 2017 will be released shortly.
*******Colonial Pipeline’s 811 Dig Safely Poker Series will wrap up the 2016 schedule at the Bridgeport Speedway on Friday and Saturday, November 11th and 12th with some great stock car racing action.
The Poker Series has become one of the most popular events during the course of the racing season since it was introduced to the Logan Township speed plant during the 2012 season by the late, Doug Hoffman. Drivers earn the cards for the Poker hands based upon their finish in a series of select races. A win gives a driver an Ace, a second a King, a third a Queen and so on. The drivers with the top three hands as well as the driver with the worst hand at the end of the Poker Series win additional prize money.
Colonial Pipeline is offering some special prizes for some lucky fans. Fans are asked to post photos of themselves with one of several 811 Dig Safely logos that can be found around the speedway on Friday night.
Photos must be posted to Facebook or Twitter. Prizes will include a future night of you choosing in a Skybox, Colonial Pipeline prize bags, an autographed diecast, gift cards for a local restaurant. Details will be available during Friday night’s event as fans come through the gate and at the Colonial Pipeline 811 Dig Safely tent.
Fans are invited throughout the evening to visit the Colonials display tent for more free giveaways and also free hot dogs with all the fixings!
Duane Howard leads the Big Blocks into the final night of competition with a pair of Aces and a ten to Rick Laubach’s pair of Queens and a ten. 2016 Bridgeport Track Champion, Ryan Watt, is sitting with the best outside chance – just one card away from a straight – that would ruin everyone else’s night of cards.
Two Crate/Sportsman competitors are holding hands of Three of a Kind. Stephen Kemery, the 2015 Rookie Champion, has collected three tens and an eight while Clyde Cox holds three-sevens and a five. Scott Hulmes has a pair of deuces.
The Outlaw Stocks will compete in both Friday and Saturday night events, adding two more cards to their hands. 2016 Track Champion, TJ Henry leads the way with a pair of Aces and a Queen.

Pocono Raceway will host seven major events next year, including two NASCAR and one Verizon IndyCar Series weekend.
Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.poconoraceway.com, by calling 1-800-RACEWAY or in person at the Pocono Raceway Ticket Office on Long Pond Road. In addition, Pit/Paddock passes, Gift Cards and Tricky Triangle Club tickets can also be purchased.
All children (ages 12 and under) tickets are free for Friday and Saturday support races and half price for Sunday events in the 100 and 200 level grandstands.
Pocono Raceway will host a pair of NASCAR Cup Series races, the Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 on June 11 and the Pennsylvania 400 on July 30 and the ABC Supply 500 Verizon IndyCar Series will be held August 20. NASCAR Cup tickets start at $45 while INDYCAR tickets start at just $25.
‘The Tricky Triangle’ will welcome back the NASCAR XFINITY Series for the Pocono Green 250 on June 10 race and hold the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Pocono Mountains 150 on July 29. Tickets to either of those races are $25.
Two ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards races complete the schedule, the General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 on June 9 and the 150-mile race on July 28. Friday race tickets begin at $10.
