Brandywine Community Library hosts a reception for a Photography Exhibit featuring Brian Stunkard and DJ Siravo on Saturday, Aug. 25 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the library, 60 Tower Drive, Topton. Their photographs will be on exhibit at the library from Aug. 25 to Sept. 15.
Brian Stunkard is an avid photographer who enjoys capturing images in National Parks, ghost towns, cemeteries, and dilapidated areas. He has recently moved into the Berks County area from the western part of the United States.
“Time consumes everything. But time gives us texture and uniqueness along the way,” said Stunkard.
Dorothy Siravo arrived in Topton in April, 2007. She instantly fell in love with the beauty of the constantly changing local scenery. Her mission is to explore, capture and present the charm and delight found all around us. Patterns in Black and White is a collection of black and white photographs depicting various types of patterns. Patterns are everywhere. Sometimes they are easy to spot. Other times they might be hiding, waiting for you to open your eyes and look. Can you find them?
