The Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s Board of Directors recently approved the investment of $150,000 in support of regional economic development. Three companies from BFTP/NEP’s 21-county service area received funding.
Included in the latest round of investments was Misco Products Corp., Bern Township, which received $15,000 to support the implementation of the company's master facility plan, including selecting a contractor for developing detailed production layout plans and constructing the 90,000 square foot building. The new facility reflects projected space requirements that will handle current and future needs for the next five years. Misco Products manufactures cleaning and maintenance chemicals for the industrial, food service, health care, and institutional markets.
The company is partnered with Alvernia University’s O’Pake Institute.
