The Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon-cutting at Birdsboro Lodge Senior Living in Exeter Township on March 19.
Chamber members, Lodge residents, and staff participated.
Birdsboro Lodge, located at 6740 Daniel Boone Road near Daniel Boone Homestead, joined the Chamber in December.
Christopher and Laurie Gregg are the owners of this newly renovated family owned and operated personal care home situated on a 3.4 acre tree lined property.
“We are committed to providing exceptional care and services while fostering independence in a safe and homelike environment,” according to a statement on the Birdsboro Lodge website.
Resident rooms each have a private bath. Owners are available 24/7 on site. There are alarmed doors and a resident pager system. A meal plan accommodates the most selective palate. Trained and experienced staff provide personal care assistance, including nurse provided medication management, housekeeping and laundry services. Therapeutic recreation programs offer community outings and socially interactive opportunities, according to the Lodge website.
