The Class of 2008 Post Prom Committee is hosting the event, which will begin at Boyertown Jr. High West. A $15 pre-registration fee must be postmarked by October 4. The first 200 entrants will receive a custom designed T-shirt on race day. Registration on race day will cost $20. The fourth annual Boyertown Area Unity Walk will feature the addition of an art gallery, including works from local artists and students. The festivities at Boyertown Junior High West will feature live entertainment. An outdoor cafÃ&Copy; will sell hamburgers, hotdogs and drinks. The walk will begin along Madison Street at 3 p.m.

In connection with the 100th anniversary of the Rhoads Opera

House Fire, the Boyertown Area Historical Society has prepared an exhibit of the fire, its victims and aftermath at 43 South Chestnut Street in Boyertown. The exhibit is free and open to the public. The display will continue specific Sundays through January 2008.

The Boyertown Rotary hosts its sixth annual event at the Keystone Fire hall at 1 p.m. Tickets cost $20 in advance and $25 at the door, which will open at noon. The even benefits local

The Bechtelsville Community Rod and Gun Club will hold the event at its clubhouse on Lane Road. Flying, standing, and splash boards. Prizes include fresh hams, turkeys, pork loins, sausage, bacon, and cash. Current dues and new memberships will be accepted at the shoot.
