As part of the service project to attain the Eagle rank, Brandywine Heights High School senior and Life Scout Harry Mayrhofer is acquiring a grand piano for Brandywine Heights High School. The project is two-fold. Mayrhofer will be presenting a fundraising concert performed by musicians who have roots in the Brandywine Heights music program. He will then purchase and install the piano in the school.

The concert will take place on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 3 p.m. in the Brandywine Heights High School Auditorium, 103 Old Topton Road. The benefit concert will feature 12 past and present music directors from the district, performing instrumental and vocal solos and ensembles of a variety of genres. A reception will follow the concert. Tickets are $8 for Adults, $5 for Students and Seniors and may be purchased in advance or at the door.
