The annual Boyertown Memorial Day Parade will be held Monday, May 29, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Preceding the parade — there will be a brief ceremony at the Carl A Spaatz memorial around 8:30 a.m. and another brief ceremony at the Union Cemetery at 9 a.m. by the American Legion Firing Squad.
The parade will begin at the Boyertown High School Monroe Street entrance at 9:30 a.m. and will travel west on Philadelphia Avenue. The parade will lead to Fairview Cemetery, where at approximately 10 a.m., a memorial service will remember fallen soldiers, veterans and active military members.
The events are hosted by the Charles B. Yerger American Legion Post No. 471 a.m.
