The Berks County Parks and Recreation Department will partner with the Berks County Fly Tyers to present a six-week session of beginner fly tying classes, starting Tuesday, March 5 , at the Berks County Heritage Center, 1102 Red Bridge Road, Bern Township.

The classes are designed to provide students with the basic knowledge of fly patterns and tying methods. Classes will run 7 to 9 p.m. every Tuesday through April 9.

There are a limited number of tying tools and equipment available for beginners’ classes. Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment with them. Join us for a 6-week fly-tying course for beginners and novice fly-fishing enthusiasts.

The cost is $30 for all ages. Fee to cover cost of materials payable on or before first class. Included in the fee is Club Membership for 2019. Pre-registration suggested by March 1.
