Presentation title "Opéra Noir" or "Au Revoir Roma" will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, at Phoebe Berks, 1 Reading Drive, Wernersville. Refreshments served. Guest artists are Robin Bier, contralto, and Caleb Flick, piano.
Bier holds her bachelor’s degree in voice from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and postgraduate degrees in solo-voice ensemble singing and historical performance practice from the University of York in England. Robin is based in Philadelphia, where she teaches privately, coaches the choristers of Bryn Athyn Cathedral, and periodically guest coaches the early music ensemble at Temple University. Robin is a student of German baritone Christian Immler.
