Boyertown Area Multi-Service receives grant from Rhoads Energy

The Rhoads Energy Family of Companies, a regional energy and HVAC services leader and parent to Boyertown Oil & Propane, has made a donation to Boyertown Area Multi-Service Inc. to support the efforts of the Richard. J. Ricketts Community Center in Pottstown. Through its charitable Legacy Fund, Rhoads has provided a $1140 grant to the agency — in the form of cash, four laptops, a printer and four office chairs. The community organization will also receive a charitable discount and installation from Furniture Soup. The total value of the grant is more than $5,000. Boyertown Area Multi-Service will use grant funds and equipment to help job seekers research websites and write resumes at the Ricketts Center. It will also assist students with homework who may not have access to the Internet.
