About Brandywine The Brandywine Heights School District is comprised of District, Rockland and Longswamp Townships. The Borough of Topton, which is central to our district and where our administrative offices are located, is approximately 6 miles from the nearby community of Kutztown.Student population for the 2008-09 school year is approximately 1,808.

School buildings are the high school (grades 9-12), middle school (grades 5-8), District Topton (K-4), Rockland (K-2) Longswamp (K-2).

Professional staff include 146 full time, five part-time, administrative staff of 12 and support staff of 66 full-time and 42 part-time.

Board meetings are held the first Monday of the month, 7 p.m.

Parent Conferences

Elementary - Nov. 20-26 dismissal at 1 p.m.

Middle school - Nov. 24-26 dismissal at 12:10 p.m.

Early dismissal times at the high school is 10:45 a.m., middle school is 11:40 a.m. and grades 1-4 is 12:30 p.m. modified kindergarten AM K - 8:45-10:30 a.m. PM K - 10:45-12:30 p.m. Snow Make-Up Days are April 6, 7, 8, 9.
