On June 8, services will be held at 8 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m. It is Graduate Sunday and we will honor our graduates.On June 8, at 9:15 the Personnel Committee meets and the Sunday school teachers will have a meeting.

On June 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. the Youth Group meets.

On June 9, at 7 p.m. Union Council meets.

On June 11, at 6 p.m. the Choir Picnic will be held.

There will not be any choir practices during the summer. They will resume in September.

Lighthouse Community Church

Lighthouse Community Church, 5 Penn St. Lyon Station, is a full gospel church that provides a contemporary service at 10 a.m. Sunday mornings; we have an intercessory prayer meeting at 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Wednesday at 7 p.m. is our mid-week Bible study, everyone is welcome.

St. Peter's Union Church

St Peter's Union Church is located at 783 St. Peters Rd. on the mountain south of Macungie.

On June 11, Church Board meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Vacation Bible School will be held from June 16 through June 20.

Zion Maxatawny Church

A Strawberry and Ice Cream Festival will be held on June 6, from 6 to 10 p.m. Rain or shine. Music will be performed by the Toad Creek Duo. There will be refreshments, a Silent Auction and Cake Walks.

Hope Lutheran Church

A Strawberry Festival will be held on June 8, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Hope Lutheran Church 550 Fleetwood Rd., Bowers. Come out and enjoy strawberries, baked goods, ice cream, hot dogs, hamburgers, and barbecues. For more information call 610-682-7236.

New Bethel Church

A Memorial Service for Revolutionary War Patriots will be held on June 8, at New Bethel Church, at 135 New Bethel Church Road, Kempton, in the cemetery immediately after the 9 a.m. church service.

The Governor Joseph Hiester Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) will be joined by members of the Conrad Weiser Society, Children of the American Revolution (CAR), and local Boy Scouts at a memorial service for the 13 known Revolutionary War soldiers and patriots buried at the New Bethel Church.

A Strawberry Festival will be held from 4 to 9 p.m., on June 14. Soup, sandwiches, baked goods, strawberries and ice cream will be sold. Entertainment will be by The Majestics, beginning at 5 p.m. Held rain or shine.
