Saint Columbkill Church, Boyertown VACATION! Do you have yours planned for this coming summer? If not, how about joining St. Columbkill is on a tour of the Canadian Rockies and Glacier National Park? Departure will be Aug. 23, 2008. The tour will include Calgary, Banff, the Columbia Ice Fields, and also Glacier National Park in Montana.

Our Family Life Committee will sponsor a Fish Fry (proceeds for Operation Rice Bowl) on Friday March 7 at 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. The cost will be $5 per adult and $3 for children, ages 3 to 10. Our weekday preschool is looking for 3 and 4 year old children who like to have fun! St. Columbkill offers a preschool program that involves children in fun learning experiences. Sausage corn chowder, seafood bisque, chicken rivel, Hookie House stew, mushroom, split pea and Harvest vegetable are only a few of the soups that may be offered at the Wednesday Lenten "Soup and Sandwich Meals" (every week menu will vary). Meals will be served at 12 noon and again at 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday during lent.

Hot dogs will be served every week along with a variety of other sandwiches such as hamburger bar-b-que and hot open-face turkey with gravy. Come, eat and enjoy. Bring a friend, relative or neighbor.

John's Usher League needs men and women to volunteer to serve on an usher team due to many people retiring after many years of service. We will provide training. Please contact the church office or see Norm Ritter if interested.
