Services were held for Daniel H. Moser, 78, of Reiffton, who died in Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md. on July 29.He was the husband of the late Donna J. (Spencer) Moser.
Born in Reading, he retired from the inventory control department at Boscov's Distribution Center in 1999. Previously, he worked at Trim Master and in the purchasing department at Hub Tool.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict.
Moser was a member of Reading Church of the Nazarene, Muhlenberg Township, serving on the church board and as a Sunday school teacher. He was the Sunday school secretary for more than 30 years. He also was a member of the Prime Timers senior citizens group at the church. In 2007, Calvary Church honored Moser with a Distinguished Service award.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Daniel R. and wife, Heidi, Mount Penn; Dean R. and wife, Joy, New Cumberland; David B. and wife, Laura, Mount Joy; and Douglas W. and wife, Carol, of Denver; two daughters, Deborah E. and husband, David Pauley, Reading; and Delores J., and husband, David Rese, of Lewisberry.
Also 15 grandchildren and three sisters.
Interment was in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the memorial fund at Reading Church of the Nazarene at the above address.
