The 100th edition of the Elverson Antique Show will be held on March 23 and 24 at Twin Valley High School, 4897 North Twin Valley Road, Elverson, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Located in Chester County, the show draws dealers and visitors from Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, New Hampshire, and Virginia.
Originally started as a fund raiser for the Elverson Fire Company, the show now benefits the Girl’s Lacrosse team at the high school. Team members and supporters work as porters, help with set up, and run the food stand. A true team effort goes on between the dealers and the high school students to produce a quality antique show where visitors won’t be disappointed.
Situated high on a hill overlooking the rolling Chester County countryside, the Elverson show reflects the rich historic heritage of the area as well as appealing to those with more modern and eclectic tastes. In addition to stoneware, textiles, baskets, iron, and fraktur, dealers also offer jewelry, toys, holiday items, and folk art. From weathervanes to fine china, show-goers can find accessories to complement their homes both inside and out.
Admission is $7, or $6 with a card or advertisement. To learn more about the Elverson Antique Show visit www.elversonantiqueshow.com or “Elverson Antique Show and Sale” on facebook. Additional information is available by calling 701-310-4488 or 717-532-8111
