The final concert of the Honey Brook Borough free summer Concert in the Park series will be held on Sept. 16 at 5 p.m. (note earlier start time) when the Pete Kilpatrick Band performs their original blend of folk and rock music which has been compared to Coldplay, Matt Mathanson and Mat Kearney.
The Maine-based Pete Kilpatrick Band will be traveling all the way to Honey Brook to perform for us! Pete, an acoustic singer/songwriter, has been named Maine’s Best Act and Best Vocals four times in the Portland Best Music Awards. The band has performed with many notable artists including Jason Mraz, David Gray and the Dave Matthews Band. Pete’s music has also been featured on NBC’s “The Office” and “Parks and Recreation” as well as “New Girl”on FOX. Check out the band’s website at petekilpatrickband.com.
Concert-goers are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and picnics. The park has a large covered pavilion with picnic tables. The Honey Brook Lions Club will be providing food and beverages for purchase. We will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Honey Brook Food Pantry at each concert.
In the event of inclement weather, the decision to cancel will be made by 1 p.m. the day of the show. A cancellation message will be recorded on the Borough phone line 610-273-2020.
Alcoholic beverages and pets are not permitted in the park.
