The Birdsboro Community Fine Arts show, sponsored by the Birdsboro Friends of the Arts, will take place Oct. 13, 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day in the Birdsboro Community Memorial Center, 201 East Main Street in Birdsboro.Admission to the exhibit is free, though a ticketed opening night preview party will be held Friday, Oct. 12.
Over 100 regional professional artists and crafters will display their work for show and sale, including potters, glass blowers, furniture crafters, sculptors, stained-glass and metal craft artists and painters.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the community center, Exeter Library and art programs in the Daniel Boone School District.
Berks County artists Peggy Reisch and Pat Oxenford have donated original pieces to be offered for silent auction.
Reisch was selected to design the art show's 15th annual poster, which will be sold as a limited edition print.
Oxenford was selected as the show's featured artist.
Children's book author and illustrator Carole Haile of West Reading will be available Saturday and Sunday to sign and personalize her latest book, "Elephants Overboard."
