Fleetwood Borough Police responded to two separate crashes on Fleetwood Lyons Road on Dec. 4, both with injuries.

At 1:45 p.m., police were dispatched to a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Fleetwood Lyons Road and School Road, Richmond Township, with injuries.

Police report that Mailyn Tran, 31, Breinigsville, was driving east on Fleetwood Lyons Road when it rear ended a vehicle (driven by Edward Bodogh Jr, 64, of Windsor) that was completely stopped while waiting for westbound traffic to make a left turn. The collision then pushed that vehicle into another.

Bodogh was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital for head injuries. The driver of the third vehicle, David Fowler, 64, Fleetwood, and a passenger in his vehicle were transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital for head and neck pain.

All three vehicles were towed from the scene.

The roadway was partially closed for about 30 minutes.

Multiple fire companies including fire police assisted on scene.

This incident is under investigation.

Police were later dispatched to Fleetwood Lyons Road and Deka Road at 11 p.m. for a two-vehicle crash with injuries and one vehicle on its side.

The investigation revealed that an SUV driven by Iqnacio Tavera-Perez, 21, Reading, was driving northbound on Fleetwood Lyons Road and claims he was rear ended by an unknown vehicle. Tavera-Perez said this caused him to look in his rear-view mirror taking his attention away from the roadway. When he looked forward, Tavera-Perez said he saw an SUV, driven by Mohamed Conde, 20, Shillington, turning onto Deka Road from Fleetwood Lyons Road. He could not stop in time to avoid collision. This collision caused Conde’s SUV to roll onto its side.

Conde and his passengers were transported to the hospital by EMS.

Both vehicles required towing.

The northbound lanes of Fleetwood Lyons Road were shut down while investigating the crash.

Multiple fire companies including fire police assisted on scene.
