As election time draws closer and closer, The Free Press has decided to host a debate including all eight candidates running for Quakertown's Borough Council.The free and open to the public event will be held Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the James A. Michener branch of the Bucks County Free Library, on Mill Street in Quakertown.
The Democratic candidates include Steve Biddle, Michele Scarborough, Nancy Roberts and John Flynn.
The Republican candidates include Michael Johnson, Dennis Hallman, Edward Scholl and L. James Roberts Jr.
The Free Press is giving the community a chance to have input into the questions asked during the debate.

The Free Press will look through the questions submitted and shape the debate to get to the core of the biggest issues that many residents are concerned with.
