A Hamburg man remained in critical condition Sunday night two days after his car crashed into the rear of a tractor-trailer on Route 61 in Tilden Township.
Kai Akeil-Paul Miller, 22, was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital near Allentown after his car struck the back of the rig, which was driven by Stephen Spata, 34, Chambersburg, in the southbound lanes at the ramp for I-78 westbound about 11:20 p.m.
Spata was not hurt, but two passengers in Miller's vehicle also were hurt, according to state police at Hamburg, who handled the crash.

After the impact, Miller's car slid into the northbound lanes of Route 61.
Miller was taken by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition Sunday night.
The two passengers in Miller's car were also taken by ambulance to local hospitals. Aidan Reppert, 18, Schuylkill Haven, was taken to Lehigh Valley and Ovaldo Nieves, 18, Hamburg, was taken to Reading Hospital.
Information on their conditions was remained available Sunday night.
Route 61 was closed for about two hours Friday night.
