Heritage vaccinations

Donald “Don” Westley was among the residents of Heritage of Green Hills’ personal and memory care neighborhood who received a COVID-19 vaccination on Jan. 28. “I am incredibly proud and grateful of the way in which our personal and memory care team and the residents’ families worked to keep that neighborhood completely COVID-19 free,” said Doug Walther, executive director. “At the same time, we strove every day to keep our residents engaged and connected. It’s been almost a year of diligence, creativity and sacrifice, but sticking to our mission of promoting physical health, combined with mental and emotional wellness, has seen us through.” Residents in the Cumru Township, Berks County, healthy life plan community’s independent living neighborhood were expected to receive their first round of shots last week.
