New Hanover: Wed. Feb. 27, 7:00 pm at the township building. Jesse Tobin will present "Pow-wow in PA German Healing Practices." A practicing herbalist and practitioner of pow-wow, Tobin is an author and teacher in traditional Pa German healing arts.Limerick: Monday, Feb. 11, 7:30 at the township building. "Give your Heart A Break." Pat Eltz, community health specialist at PMMC will present a program on how to protect yourself from heart disease and other preventable health problems.

Boyertown: Wed. Feb. 13, 7:30 at the society building, 43, South chestnut Street. Gerry Kershner will present "Pa Dutch Customs of Holidays." Kershner is a nationally published suthor and has done a great deal of research on the PA Dutch.

The books Swamp New Hanover Vol. I and II published by the historical society and containing 130 of past "Historian" columns are available at The Corner Shoppe, and Bill's Barber Shop. Sales benefit the historical society.
