The following defendants had preliminary hearings in front of District Justice Victor Frederick IV on May 2.ˆ·PatrickFadigan, 32,of Birdsboro, had two charges from an April 16 incident held for court. According to court documents, Fadigan was stopped in Douglassville driving a Chevrolet Blazer with a registration sticker that did not belong on the vehicle and without insurance. Fadiagan also had an outstanding warrant in Montgomery County.ˆ·Michael Bryant, 27, of Blandon, waived four charges from a March 22 incident in Alsace Township. According to papers, Bryant sent threatening text messages to his ex-girlfiend's boyfriend. Court documents state Bryant sent at least 43 text messages, threatening to harm his ex-girlfirend and her boyfriend. Attached to one of the messages was a photo of a male shooting a handgun, according to authorities.ˆ·Brendon Bieber, 27, of Douglassville, waived four charged from an alleged Jan. 20 drunk-driving incident in Oley Township. Documents claim Bieber was clocked driving 86.3 mph in a 40-mph zone on Route 73 at 2:36 a.m. Bieber reportedly told police he had two beers that evening.The following defendants had preliminary hearings in front of District Justice Michael Hartman on May 9.ˆ·FrancisTartaglia, 23,of Boyertown, waived seven charges from a Feb. 25 drunkdriving incident. According to court documents, Tartaglia's Mustang was pulled over on Route 73, near Bertolet Mill Road, around 2:45 a.m. for tailgaiting and crossing the double line. Authorites claim Tartaglia, who had a .209-percent blood alcohol content, acted "arrogant and uncooperative" and spit gum at an officer.

Dawn Samsel, 41, of Gilbertsville, waived five charges and had one withdrawn from a Feb. 11 incident. Court records state Samsel was driving north in the southbound lane of Main Street in Bechtelsville with her headlights off at 12:40 a.m. According to authorities, she nearly had a head-on collision with a police officer. Court papers state she had a .20 percent blood alcohol content.ˆ·RandyMoyer, 37,ofBarto, waived five charges from a Jan. 4 drunk driving incident. According to court documents, Moyer ran a stop sign at North Main and East Spring streets at 2:29 a.m. Moyer, who allegedly admitted to having five or six drinks, had a .118-percent blood alcohol content.
