Matt Santos first learned of Kyle Quinn's death when he was wakened by a 4:30 a.m. phone call. He's the assistant director of university relations and has been at the school 15 years."With the folk I talked to, and not just students, there was a general feeling of shock. You look at the town of Kutztown, and you look at the university, and we look at Virginia Tech and know no one is immune to violence, but you don't think it can happen to you.
"The fact that it happened in Kutztown and happened to one of our students, I would describe people as being shocked by that. And not just here at Kutztown University, but in the community.
"I think just from what I've seen in the media I think a lot of people are upset.
"It was a tragedy, really. "
