James R. "Ray" Hulme, 94, husband of Lillian M. (Eager) Hulme of Morgantown formerly of Philadelphia died Friday, Dec. 19, 2008 in his residence.Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Alfred and Grace (Rementor) Hulme.

He first worked at the former Nicholson File, Philadelphia and last worked at Temple University as a maintenance carpenter.

Hulme was a member of the Richmond Masonic Lodge 230 F&AM, and was of the Lutheran faith.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years; two sons, James R., Jr., husband of Elise (Marandolo) Hulme of Sanford, Florida and Clinton W., husband of Carol (Isbert) Hulme of Pennsburg.

One brother, three sisters, four grandchildren and one great-grandson also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, Berks County Unit, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605.

Services were held at Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA with the Reverend Robert R. Mitchell, Jr. officiating.

Burial was in Limerick Garden of Memories.

Arrangements were handled by the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., Boyertown.
