Services were held April 28 for Kathryn (Young) Focht, 95, formerly of Kutztown, who died April 19 in ManorCare, Muhlenberg Township.She was the widow of Charles W. Focht, who died May 20, 1976.

Born on Sept. 13, 1911, in Baltimore, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Julianna (Rosenberger) Young.

She was a member of Becker's St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fleetwood.

Focht was co-owner and operator of the former Focht's Moselem Hotel for 28 years, retiring in 1974.

Surviving is a daughter, Barbara A., Kutztown.

Other survivors include two sisters, Julia, Reading; and Elizabeth, Fleetwood; and a sister- in-law, Althea Young, Kutztown.

There are also three grandchildren: Patricia L. Harrigle, Whitehall; Bruce M., Sinking Spring; and Jennifer C., Walnuttown; and six greatgrandchildren: Jason A. and Gregory M. Harrigle, both of Whitehall; Ryan J. and Eric M. Held, both of Sinking Spring; and Brett S. and Brittany S. Shick, both of Walnuttown.

She was predeceased by three sisters: Annie Hill, Anna Doremus and Margaret Young; and two brothers, Nicholas and Jacob Young.

Burial was in Becker's St. Peter's Cemetery, Fleetwood.
