The following crimes were reported by Kutztown Police from July 25-31.July 25: Police arrested Kyle S. Blankenbiller, 21 of Topton, for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence, following an incident that occurred on Constitution Blvd. at W. Main St.

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in the 500 block of N. Kemp St.

Police are investigating the theft of orange traffic cones after they were reported missing from a work area in the 100 block of W. Main St.

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in the 400 block of W. Main St.

July 26: Police are investigating vandalism to the siding on the bathrooms at the Babe Ruth field, located in the Kutztown Borough Community Park, 440 E. Main St.

Police are investigating the theft of a bicycle after it was reported missing from the Kutztown Borough Community Park, 440 E. Main St.

July 31: Police are investigating the theft of cash after it was reported missing from a found wallet in the 300 block of E. Main St.

Berks-Lehigh Regional Police Chief Michael Weiser reports his department responded to 212 assignments from July 28 to Aug. 3.

Also, the department assisted other departments 27 times, responded to 18 accidents, seven animal cases, 26 alarms, 19 EMS calls and three fire calls. It also issued 42 traffic citations.

Crimes July 28: Report of theft of property at Quarry Rd. in Maxatawny Township.

July 30: Report of theft from a vehicle at Tomahawk Dr. in Maxatawny Township.

Also, a report of theft of property at Barkley St. in Topton.

July 31: Report of public drunkeness at Callowhill St. in Topton.

Aug. 1: Report of identity theft at Quarry Rd. in Lyons.

Also, a report of criminal mischief to vehicle was reported at Weis St. in Topton.

Aug. 2: Report of criminal mischief to property at College Blvd. in Maxatawny Township.

Arrests July 30: A 19-year old male was arrested for theft from a vehicle and receiving stolen property.

Fleetwood Borough and Richmond Township Police

Chief Ray Nester reports the department responded to 115 service calls between July 27 and Aug. 2. It also issued 13 traffic and parking citations, responded to three accidents and five alarms.

Crimes July 27: A 23-year old male was arrested for Driving Under the Influence after a traffic stop at W. Main St.

July 29: An 18-year old male was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance after a traffic stop at Main and Richmond streets.

July 30: Theft of mail was reported from a mailbox in the 2400 block of Moselem Springs Road.

July 31: A 52-year old female was arrested for criminal tresspass, simple assault and other charges after she forced her way into a house and assaulted her daughter-in-law in the 400 block of Somerset St. The victim was transported to the hospital.

Aug. 1: A 17-year old male was arrested for disorderly conduct after an incident at Fleetwood Park. The male was under the influence of a drug, causing him to want to fight the police, they report.

Aug. 2: Investigation into a burglary of an apartment in the 100 block of W. Main St. in which cash was stolen. Also, a purse was reported stolen from Homer's Bar, W. Main St. Cash and credit cards were in the purse

A 19-year old male was arrested for driving under the influence which resulted in a traffic accident at the 400 block of E. Main St.. The male hit a light pole and damanged four parked vehicles along E. Main St.

A 19-year old male was arrested for underage drinking and other charges following a domestic disturbance with his mother in the 200 block of Richmaiden Rd.

Access device fraud in Albany Township

On July 22, police reported that a 30-year old Kempton man's credit card was stolen and used to purchase an airline ticket on Delta Airlines for $539. Investigation is continuing.

Disorderly conduct in Albany Township

On July 26 to 28, unknown actor(s) placed a rotting corpse of a small animal, possibly a rabbit, a Kempton resident's mailbox on Kunkels Mill Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP-Hamburg.
