Kutztown University has signed an agreement with Lock Haven University that will allow Kutztown students to dual-enroll in graduate-level course at Lock Haven.
The deal means that KU students studying psychology or sports science can enroll in up to 12 graduate-level credits at Lock Haven. The credits will count toward the students' undergraduate degree at KU and a graduate degree at Lock Haven.
To qualify, students must be in their junior year and have a grade point average of at least 3.0.
"We are excited to offer this accelerated program opportunity to our Kutztown University psychology majors who are interested in sport and performance sciences," said Dr. Gregory Shelley, KU chair of the department of psychology. "The connection between performance and psychology is well established. The collaborative relationship between Kutztown's psychology program and Lock Haven's sport science program will put our students on a fast track to successful careers in a variety of areas."
