Kyle Lee Staniszewski, 36, Bern Township, died Jan. 26, 2008, in Lakewood, Wash.He was the husband of Cassie J. Paup, Temple.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Diane L. (Spitko) Staniszewski, St. Francis, with whom he last resided, and Peter Paduch Jr., Orefield.

An Army specialist in Fort Lewis, Wash., he was an occupational therapist at Madigan Army Medical Center, Wash., since July 9, 2003.

He was a 1989 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School and a graduate of Penn State Berks Campus with a degree in occupational therapy.

He served in Iraq in 2005 and returned home in April 2006.

He earned an Eagle Scout award from Boy Scout Troop 150 of Alsace Lutheran Church.

He also is survived by his maternal grandmother, Irene W. (Waters) Spitko, Wyomissing, widow of R. Gordon Spitko; and his paternal grandparents, Peter Paduch Sr. and Jeanette Paduch, Orefield.

Other survivors include his uncles, Ronald D., husband of Diane Spitko, Allentown, and Arthur W., husband of Laura Spitko, Schnecksville.

There also are a half brother, Zachary Paduch; and a half sister, Nicole Brier, New York City.

Services were held at Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 16th and Rockland streets, Hampden Heights.
