Linda J. Ferraro, 22, Brecknock Township, passed away Feb. 12, 2008, at 8:41 a.m. in Reading Hospital.Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of Samuel M. Ferraro Jr. and Anna M. (Sottosanti) Ferrano, at home.

She was an assistant teacher at the BCIU since December 2007 and was previously employed as a teacher by Tiny Treasures in Kenhorst.

She was a member of St. Benedict's Roman Catholic Church, Robeson Township, where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir.

She was a 2003 graduate of Gov. Mifflin High School and a December 2007 graduate of Alvernia College with a degree in special education, elementary education and early childhood education.

Linda loved children, singing and participating in high school plays. She loved going to the races and Hiester Lanes and country music.

Surviving in addition to her parents is her fiance, Kerry Breon, Exeter Township, to whom she was to be married Dec. 19, 2009.

Other survivors include three sisters: Josephine A. "Josie" Ferraro, Lilly M. Ferraro and Samantha M. Ferraro, all at home.

There also are her maternal grandparents, Vincent and Josephine (Bisazza) Sottosanti, Reinholds; and her paternal grandparents, Samuel M. Ferraro Sr. and Linda (Gehris) Ferraro, Mohnton.

The funeral was on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. in Bean Funeral Homes, 129 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington.
