While many parties and celebrations have been cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic, members of the Blandon Fire Company came together on Saturday to give a boy his own personal parade for his fifth birthday.

He knew that the celebration was going to have to be a little different this year since both his parents are working on the front lines of this public health emergency. His mother, Shannon, is a visiting nurse for Southeastern Home Health Services, and his father, Casey, is an assistant chief with the Blandon Fire Company and a 9-1-1 dispatcher.

So to cheer him up, members of the fire company joined forces with his family and friends to drive by Jameson's home on Blandon Meadows Parkway to give him a surprise birthday parade.
