Firefighters from four counties battled a commercial fire in Honey Brook Township, Chester County, early Saturday morning.
Fire crews were dispatched to the 6430 Emery Road at 3:30 a.m. for a fire at Sweet Water Woodworks about 5 miles from Berks County.
Crews were on scene until about 11:30 a.m.
Honey Brook Fire Company officials could not be reached Saturday.
According to the fire company's website:
A second alarm tanker task force was dispatched to help crews fight the blaze.
Crews from Honey Brook, Twin Valley, Glen Moore, East Brandywine, Keystone Valley, Wagontown, Sadsburyville, Elverson/Honey Brook Area EMS responded.
In addition, Geigertown Fire Company, Lancaster County's Caernarvon, Weaverland Valley, White Horse, Martindale and Garden Spot fire companies and Montgomery County’s North Penn Fire Company canteen responded to the fire.
Local businesses also brought the emergency crews food and coffee while they fought the blaze.
Sweet Water Woodworks was founded by Abner and Joans Stoltzfus, according to the company’s website.
The business has over 25 years of woodworking and carpentry experience.
The website states the company is steeped in the Amish tradition of quality, hand-made pieces and the custom designs produced by expert craftsmen are timeless classics.
