Tilden Township police are looking for a man and woman suspected in retail thefts of crossbows at the Cabela’s store in Tilden Ridge Shopping Center.

The thefts, which occurred more than two months apart, are believed to have been related, police said.

On Nov. 5 at around 8 p.m., a man wearing a Bass Pro baseball cap, a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans left the store by an emergency exit carrying two crossbows valued at $2,600.

He got into a silver or light-colored minivan parked close to the emergency exit. The driver's side sliding door of the minivan was open, and someone inside helped load the crossbows.

On Jan. 8 around 7:30 p.m., a woman wearing a burgundy knit hat, purple flannel jacket and grey leggings left the store through emergency exit carrying four crossbows valued at $2,650.

She got into the same minivan suspected of being involved in the November theft, utilizing the same method employed in the previous theft.
