Lucille Catrone Valori, 74, died Sept. 5, 2008, surrounded by family in her home, where she resided with her husband, Pastor Sergio Valori.Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late James Vincent and Lucy (Ag) Catrone.

She was a graduate of West Scranton High School and Lackawanna Community College.

After that, she was employed by First National Bank of Leesport for 25 years before retiring in 1994.

She was a devoted wife and mother to her three children: David Valori, Jonathan Valori and Michelle (Valori) Goodman, and her husband, Eric.

Her four grandchildren, Alexandra and Elizabeth Valori, and Sidney and Evan Goodman, adored her. She loved as her own her two step grandchildren, Stephen and Rachel Goodman.

Lucille was a woman of character who lived her life devoted to God. She was an associate pastor for 53 years with her husband, 44 of those years at Emmanuel Fellowship Church in Mohrsville. She accompanied her husband frequently on missionary trips to South America, Africa and Russia.

She was a mother to many, thinking nothing of inviting the sick, the homeless and widows into her home. She had a generous heart and a servant's spirit.

She is also survived by three sisters: Kay Lalli, Binghamton, N.Y.; Ella Schulp, Scranton; and Annette Vannucci, Martin, Ky.; and a brother, Michael Catrone, Scranton.

Funeral services were held at Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington. Burial was in Leesport Cemetery.
