Luetta N. Lausch, 99, formerly of Reiffton, died Sept. 28 in Phoebe Berks Health Center, Wernersville.Born in Denver, Pa., she was the widow of Dr. M. Luther Lausch.

Following her graduation from Denver High School in 1926 and Ursinus College in 1930, she taught school in Denver until her marriage in 1937. After moving to Berks County in 1948, she taught first in the Oley Valley schools and then in Exeter Township.

She and her husband were charter members of Reformation Lutheran Church, Reiffton, where over the years she performed a variety of leadership roles.

She was also active with Meals on Wheels, the American Association of University Women and the St. Lawrence Woman's Club.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Robert N. Lausch, Mobile, Ala.; daughter, Anne N. Smeltzer, and her husband, John, Lititz; daughter, Jeanne N. Kirk, and her husband, Ellis, Sinking Spring; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Lutz Funeral Home Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave., Mount Penn.

Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
