Services will be Thursday for Marian E. Lammey, 95, of Elverson, who died April 19 in Reading Hospital.Born in Elverson, she was a 1928 graduate of Caernarvon High School. She studied piano with William Hatton Green and Mary McElree in West Chester. She taught piano in the Twin Valley School District elementary schools and privately in her home for 50 to 60 years.
A lifelong member of Goodwill United Methodist Church, she served as organist, pianist and choir director.
Lammey was active in the West Nantmeal Historical Society and was the Lammey family historian.
Surviving are her brother, Austin E., husband of Mary (Houck) Lammey, Elverson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

A viewing will be held Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. in Goodwill United Methodist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Paul R. Crikelair officiating.
Burial will be the adjoining cemetery.
The Bachman Funeral Home, Strasburg, handled the arrangements.
