NBCC to host new Roundtable Series beginning Sept. 22

The Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce announces a new Roundtable Series to be facilitated by Robin Costenbader-Jacobson, certified professional coach, for women in business. Both chamber members and non-members are invited to participate this fall.

The first of four sessions in the series will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the offices of the Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce, 110 West Main Street, Kutztown. The remaining sessions will be held this year on Oct. 27 and Nov. 17 with a final session to be held on Jan. 26, 2017.

Whether you want to communicate more effectively, develop leadership skills, build productive relationships, set boundaries, get organized or embark on a new career path, this series will assist you in recognizing your power to affect meaningful change to take dynamic steps toward your dream. Robin will work with participants to throw away invalid, conditioned beliefs and work together on Motivation and Goal-Setting, Personal Introspection and Reflection, Building Your 2-Minute Pitch and Delivering Your Story.

A Certified Professional Business and Life Coach, a Conflict Resolution Mediator, a Team Building and Strategic Planning Facilitator and a MasterMind Group organizer, she is a multi-faceted business and community leader with a demonstrated record of success.

Robin is the former President and CEO of Junior Achievement of Greater Reading and Lehigh Valley that served more than 100,000 students in 11 years during her tenure. Reading native Robin Costenbader-Jacobson has tackled nursing and politics, ran the County’s Humane Society and was Reading’s Fairgrounds Square Mall’s first marketing director. Appointed by Governor Tom Ridge, Robin was the first highest ranking female in the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, as the Deputy Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Lottery – just to name a few of her career accomplishments.
