For the second time in less than a month, a burglar broke into a Strausstown gas station and the money boxes of its Pennsylvania Skills game machines, state police said.

The latest break-in occurred just before 1 a.m. Oct. 9 at Power Gas and Food Mart on Old Route 22 in Upper Tulpehocken Township.

A suspect entered the store after prying the front door open. He was observed on security camera footage to be wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, brown boots, blue "dickie style" pants and gray gloves.

He proceeded to pry open two Pennsylvania Skills machines, removing cash, then fled the business and ran toward Route 183.

In the previous break-in, about 2:40 a.m. Sept. 14, the burglary forced open two of the gaming/skill machines and attempted to open the cash register drawer.

He was observed wearing a gray and black Eastsport backpack and brown Avia boots.
