Fleetwood Community Theatre has a tradition of mixing an Italian dinner and music at its annual 'Spaghetti & Song' event.
This year, the non-profit theater organization presents the 2012 Spaghetti & Song 'Love is in the Air' on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 28 and 29, from 5 to 8p.m. at St. Paul's U.C.C., Fleetwood.
How is this event different than all the other spaghetti dinner fundraisers? The staff is also the entertainment. The waitersare up on stage singing.
Every year the performances are based on a theme; this year's theme is 'Love is in the Air' so all the songs will have 'love' in the lyrics. It's a fun mix of tunes – not all are 'mushy love songs.'
The director is Jeannette DeAngelo. Accompianist is Phyllis Sands. Master Chef is Peter Laucks.
This year's performers are:Jenni Juntunen, Paige Fenstermacher, Marissa Bubbenmoyer, Gerry Thibou, Dave Hornberger, Amanda Hornberger, Matthew Phillips, Katie Ott, Dave Erb, Deborah D'Haiti, Michelle Kreuger, Casey Kreuger, Donna Torres, Matthew Hayes, Bob Aregood, Erin Aregood, Pete Bourey, Jason Denlinger, Peter Laucks, Angela DeAngelo, Sarah Wisser, Debbi Silas, Brian Miller and Nichi Hunsberger.
