Members of the graduating class of 1952 at Hamburg High School, and their spouses and other classmates, enjoyed looking back over 60 years as they gathered at Haag's Restaurant in Shartlesville recently. They also felt fortunate to be able to delight in each other's company as they talked, laughed, played games, participated in a Chinese auction, and ate a good meal together.
Tribue was paid to the 16 class members who have died.
The group also learned about hex signs and barn art from local hex sign artist Eric Claypoole.
About 30 people attended the gathering. Same came from as far away as Florida, Mississippi, and Delaware.
