A Hamburg man was arrested Wednesday, July 8, after leading a state trooper on a 9-mile vehicle pursuit ending with a crash in Ruscombmanor Township.
Andrew M. Tobin, 39, was arrested on charges of fleeing and eluding, aggravated assault by vehicle and numerous other offenses, including not having a license for a firearm. It was unclear when he would be arraigned.

Tobin sped away and the chase went through Alsace, Muhlenberg and Ruscombmanor townships before a crash on Hartz Road at Route 73, troopers said.
There was a brief foot pursuit and Tobin was taken into custody.
