Sept. 26: Fleetwood crews were sent on an upgraded call of entrapment with multiple vehicles on Pricetown Road at Walnuttown Road at 7:25 a.m..

Both R-45 and B-45 arrived with seven members and assisted both Ruscombmanor and Alsace Manor departments with extrication and patient care. The patient was enroute to Reading Hospital Medical Center's trauma bay within 20 minutes of dispatch via Fleetwood EMS.

State Police

Sept. 24: Harry Harrison, 20, Porter, Texas, was traveling east on Fenstermacher Road, Greenwich Township, at 4 a.m. when he attempted to negotiate a left curve, the vehicle exited the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch. The vehicle then struck an embankment and rolled over onto its roof. Harrison fled the scene. Investigation continues.

Sept. 29: Michael Maurer, 31, Girardville, was traveling west on Old Route 22 west of Met-Ed Road at 8:33 a.m. when he fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway striking an embankment and a tree. Upon impact, the vehicle spun clockwise and rolled onto its right side. A seatbelt was not used. Maurer sustained moderate injury. Hamburg EMS transported Maurer to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Assisting at the scene were Virginville Fire Company and Kempton Fire Company and Kramer's Towing.

Sept. 30 to Oct. 1: from 5 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., an unknown person used an unknown object to scratch the driver side door of a silver 2003 Chevy Cavalier parked at a cabin off of Blue Rocks Road, Greenwich Township. Anyone with information, call state police, Hamburg, 1-877-523-6373.
