Positive reinforcement assembly at Perry Elementary

A student assembly at Perry Elementary kicked off the school's positive reinforcement program. Staff spent a year planning and training for this initiative, which focused on Hawks RULE!

Have ownership of your learning.

Always follow directions from staff

Walk in a straight line in the halls

Keep hands, feet and objects within your personal space

Speak to others using kind words and actions

Aday was spent teaching students the rules and what it looks like when they demonstrate these desired behaviors. When parents, staff, or visitors are at the building and witness a student demonstrating the expectations, the learners are to be verbally praised and could earn a ticket that could be redeemable at the Hawks prize nest.

The school is trying to catch everyone being good!
