Dec. 16, we worship at 10:15 a.m. We celebrate the Third Sunday of Advent. Our children will take a noisy offering with red buckets as we adopt a Red Kettle for the Salvation Army.

Salem EC Church, Lenhartsville

Our Worship Service was held at 9 am, followed by Sunday School for all ages at 10:30 am. Pastor Dave presented a thought-provoking message based on the God’s Word. Our greeters were Jake and Cori Dixon. Our nursery attendant was Cori Dixon. Junior church leaders were Nicolette Hoover and Dawn Lutz.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 117 E. Arch St., Fleetwood

St. Paul’s Lutheran is honored to have organist and Fleetwood Music Teacher Dr. Steven Katzenmoyer perform an organ concert on Dec. 16 at 3 p.m. He will play some favorite Christmas songs and other selections. His passion and energy will delight! There will be a free will offering and refreshments will follow the concert.

The Reading Philharmonic Orchestra will be back at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fleetwood on Dec. 21 at 7 pm for their annual Christmas Concert. Come and enjoy the heartwarming songs of Christmas. Refreshments will be served following the concert.

St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran “Smoke” Church, Hamburg

Join us every Sunday morning at 9 am for worship service. The worship service is followed with a fellowship time with refreshments. Sunday school starts at 10:15 am. The acolyte for Dec. 16 is Ty Jozefick. The lector is Jeb Stratton.

The first Sunday of the month we meet after the worship service for healing and individual needs with laying on of hands, if desired. Everyone welcome.

The children’s Sunday school Christmas program is on Dec. 23 at 9 am. Everyone is welcome to attend. Our Christmas Eve Service is Dec. 24. Special music will begin at 6:30 pm. A worship service with Holy Communion and children’s sermon starts at 7 pm.

First Reformed Church, 76 S. Third St., Hamburg

The Sunday Worship Service, led by Rev. Darryl Hamm, starts at 10:15 am. and Sunday School will begin at 9 am.

Bible Study is held on Monday mornings at 9am and Thursdays at 6:30 pm.

We have youth programs for toddlers to high school seniors. God Squad is for those in grades six through 12. Noah’s Helping Hands is our group for toddlers to fifth graders. They both meet at various times and locations. Check our website at for more information.

The morning of Dec. 15 is the deadline for contributing cookies, candy and personalized Christmas cards for distribution to our shut-in members.

On Dec. 16 we will be delighted as our children put on their Christmas program during the worship service.

Our annual Candle Light Service will be on Dec. 23. Music will begin at 6:30 pm and the service will commence at 7 pm. As with all our services, all people from our wider community are heartedly welcome to join us for this beautiful and joyous celebration.

All are welcome to join us for the Christmas Eve Service on Dec. 24 at 7 pm.

At this time 2,000 plus years ago, Gaspar from the region of India, Balthazar from the region of Babylon and Melchior from the region of Persia were following a star that would lead them to our Lord. We pray your path to Christmas envelopes you in this same spirit of anticipation and wonder.
