St. Michael's Church
Nov. 18, we worship at 10:15 a.m. We celebrate the 26th Sunday after Pentecost with Thank Offering. The Women of St. Michael's usher, greet and read lessons. Members are asked to bring canned and boxed goods for the Food Pantry. The Thank Offering benefits these ministries: Salvation Army, Opportunity House, Safe Berks (formerly Berks Women In Crisis), NB Food Pantry, Mary’s Shelter, Heifer International, Bethany Children’s Home, Diakon Volunteer Home Care, Cure International, Phoebe Berks Aux. Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Good Shepherd Home.
The Bethany Angel Tree will be up this Sunday. Gifts for Bethany Children’s Home should be returned by Dec. 2.
Nov. 21, Thanksgiving Eve Worship 7 pm, at Salem-Berne United Methodist, Tilsen Twp. Pastor Jenny Freymoyer, Salem UMC, Shoemakersville, will bring the good news in her sermon. Churches of the Northern Berks Ministerium will use the offering to benefit needy families in the community. The church address is 292 Salem Church Road, Hamburg, Pa 19526 (Tilden Township).
St. Luke's Church

On Nov. 21, St Luke's Church in Shoemakersville will have a very special musical Thanksgiving Eve Service at 7 pm. Featured will be the Southern Gospel quartet “Brothers In Grace” from the Lebanon County area. Light refreshments will be served afterwards. Everyone is invited to join us.

Northern Berks Ministerium
A Fall Harvest and Advent Series will take place on Thursdays in November and December. Worship services begin at 11:30 a.m., followed by a soup buffet. Freewill offerings will benefit the Ministerium’s outreach assistance fund. The schedule: Nov. 15 at St. John Lutheran; Nov. 29 at Blue Mountain UCC (Strausstown), Dec. 6 at St. Mary Church (Tilden); Dec. 13 at Zion Lutheran (Perry); Dec. 20 at Friedens Church (Shartlesville).
Monthly Faith at the Movies at the Hamburg Strand Theater continues. Admission includes a small drink and popcorn and a donation to the Ministerium fund. Movies begin at 7 p.m. Schedule includes Nov. 27 “The Nativity Story” (2006) and Dec. 11 “The Fourth Wise Man” (1985).
The Bridge Church

If you or someone you know has experienced the tragic loss of someone close to you due to addiction, we invite you to join us for a Service of Remembrance on Nov. 18. This solemn event is designed to bring hope and comfort to families in our community and throughout our region. Our special guests include the PA Adult and Teen Challenge Choir sharing special music and the director, Kris McFadden sharing the message. This event is free to attend and open to everyone. You do not need to be affiliated with any church to join us.
We are planning a rose walk during the evening for those who wish to honor the memory of their loved one publicly. To participate in this part of the event contact The Bridge Church at 610-562-2972 ASAP so we can plan accordingly.

Our Worship Service was held at 9 am, followed by Sunday School for all ages at 10:30 am. Pastor Dave Long presented an inspiring message based on the Bible. Our greeters were Carol Boston and Wayne Adam. Our nursery attendant was Nicole Snyder. Junior church leaders were Ashley Miller and Tracey Burton. St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran “Smoke” Church

Join us every Sunday morning at 9 am for worship service. The worship service is followed with a fellowship time with refreshments. Sunday school starts at 10:15 am. The first Sunday of the month we meet directly after the worship service for healing and individual needs with laying on of hands, if desired. The next one is Dec. 2.

Five Days of Thanksgiving
The Five Days of Thanksgiving will be held in Kutztown from Nov. 18 to 22. Admission to each event is a “free-will” offering of non-perishable food and/or winter outerwear. Nov. 20: “Thanksgiving with a Twist” with Bishop David Stroble, Emeritus: Interim Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kutztown. Held at Firefly Bookstore, Kutztown, at 7 p.m.
Nov. 21: Clothing & Food Drive at St. Paul’s UCC, South Whiteoak St., Kutztown, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

First Reformed Church

Sunday Worship Service, led by Rev. Darryl Hamm, starts at 10:15 am. and Sunday School will begin at 9 am.
Bible Study is held on Monday mornings at 9am and Thursdays at 6:30 pm.
We have youth programs for toddlers to high school seniors. God Squad is for those in grades six through 12. Noah’s Helping Hands is our group for toddlers to fifth graders. They both meet at various times and locations. Check our website at hamburgfirstucc.org for more information.
Christmas Bazaar will be held Nov. 17 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Includes Kids Table with toys, games, jewelry, ornaments. St. Nick’s Café will offer hamburger BBQ, hot dogs, variety of soups (also for sale by the quart), red beet eggs, macaroni salad, homemade desserts and beverages. Stands will offer homemade cookies and candy. Our Doll Boutique will be returning and church member crafters will again be offering their specialties. Local vendors will have tables offering baskets and alpaca items, purses, ceramics, scarves, t-shirts, totes, photography, books & more, baked goodies, and fabric ornaments. Coffee and doughnuts will be available for early shoppers and there will be a table where children can play games.
