Paul I. Batman, husband, friend, colleague and barber extraordinaire, 63, of Exeter Township, died Feb. 14, 2010, in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
He was the husband of Mary Ellen (Madson) Batman.
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of Elsie L. (Moehler) Batman, Wernersville, and the late Paul I. Batman Sr.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam.
Paul was a 1964 graduate of Pottstown High School. He attended Bryland Institute and Barber Styling School.
Paul worked for Anthony's Barbers, Wyomissing, for over 16 years, at chair number one.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, colleagues and customers. Paul was a talented professional with a great sense of humor, and truly one of a kind.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister, Janice, wife of Richard Brunner, Gilbertsville. Also surviving are two nephews and a niece.
Memorial services were held on Feb. 19 at 10 a.m. in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading. A visitation was held from 9 to 10 a.m.
