Retail Theft It was reported that on September 1, a white male suspect stole four pairs of eyeglasses, worth a total of five hundred and forty dollars, from the Pearle Vision store at the Richland Plaza Shopping Center.Arrest On August 29, a 16 year old female was cited for retail theft after an incident at the Kohl's Department Store on the North West End Blvd., Quakertown. Two pairs of jeans were stolen, making a total of thirty-four dollars.
Arrest From September 2, Jeffery Wenger, 47, of Shinglehouse has been wanted by Bucks County for failure to pay court fees. Wenger was detained during a traffic stop on South West End Blvd. and Tollgate Road in Richland Township. He was detained until the Sheriff's department came to transport him.
Arrest On August 27, Megan Robey, 22, of Perkasie was charged with her second offense for retail theft. Robey stole costume jewelry and infant clothing worth just over forty six dollars at Kohl's Department Store at North West End Blvd.
Crime On August 13, at the Quakertown Farmer's Market located at 201 Station Road, Quakertown, there was a pick pocket theft. A resident of the 1600 block of Rader Ave. Bethlehem had their wallet stolen, it contained one-hundred dollars in cash and bank cards.
Burglary On August 29, a resident of the 1000 block of North West End Blvd., Quakertown, was burglarized. They had several traps stolen from an unsecured rear screened patio. It was reported that the traps were stolen sometime between July 17 and Aug. 15. The traps were valued at approximately one-hundred dollars.
Theft from Vehicle A resident of the 400 block of Harleysville Pike, Franconine, was shopping at the Quakertown Farmer's Market located at 201 Station Rd., when her unlocked vehicle was robbed of her purse and its contents.
Theft from Vehicle A resident of Dewsbury Lane, Quakertown, was parked in front of the North West End Blvd., Quakertown, Wal-mart when his equipment was stolen from his locked vehicle. The missing items value was five hundred and fifty dollars.
Driving While Under the Influence On August 7, Michelle Schemm, 38, of
Wagon Wheel Road, Quakertown, PA., was arrested for DUI after a one vehicle accident on California Road, Quakertown.
