Ronald J. Fisher, 68, of Denver died July 29, 2008, at Landis Homes.Born in Berks County, he was the son of the late Sam and Loretta (Rieser) Fisher.

He was last employed by Purcell Construction and had been previously employed by various construction companies in the area. He also was the owner of Falcon Graphix, Denver.

He served in the U.S. Navy from 1957 to 1960, being discharged from the Navy Reserves in 1963.

A member of Reinholds VFW Post 6759, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, football and shooting pool.

Surviving is his companion of 26 years, Edith R. Wenrich, of Denver; a son, Kirk J. Fisher, of Columbus, Ohio; stepchildren Todd, and wife, Rebecca (Schlegel) Snyder, of Newmanstown, and Robin Pavuski, of Reinholds; two sisters, Nancy A. Frederick, of Schoeneck, and Constance G., and husband, Richard E. Moyer, of Smokestown; and a sister-inlaw, Nadine (Kilhefner), widow of Barry L. Fisher, of Denver.

The funeral was Aug. 1 at Roseboro Funeral Home, 533 Walnut St., Denver, PA. Private interment will be in Hain's Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ronald's memory may be made to the Hospice of Lancaster County, PO box 4125, Lancaster, Pa. 17604-4124, or Landis Homes Caring Fund, 1001 E. Oregon Rd., Lititz, Pa. 17543.
