A Northumberland County woman was killed in a multiple-vehicle crash Friday afternoon, July 10, in Upper Tulpehocken Township.
Jenica L. Gray, 21, of Shamokin was pronounced dead at 2:54 p.m. at the scene by Berks County Deputy Coroner Melissa Spuhler, said acting Berks County Coroner Jonn M. Hollenbach
The cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head and neck and the death was ruled accidental, Hollenbach said.
No autopsy would be conducted, he said.
Hollenbach said Gray was on her way to work at a nursing home in West Reading when the collision occurred.
The death was the 13th on Berks roads in 2020.
State police investigated and did not provide specifics about the crash on Route 183.
