The Friends of the Daniel Boone Homestead are sponsoring a bus trip to the Fort Frederick 18th-Century Market Fair on Friday, April 26.

The cost is $45 per person and includes round trip bus fare, a light breakfast, and admission to the Fair.

The bus will leave the Daniel Boone Homestead at 6:45 a.m. and arrive at Fort Frederick around 10 a.m.

The entire day is on your own to wander through the many 18th-century sutlers, watch colorful 18th-century entertainers, or interact with the hundreds of participants dressed in attire from 1730 through 1790. The Fair is a great place to purchase replica 18th-century wares for your own use or use at an historic site.

The bus will leave the Fair about 4 p.m. and will return directly to the Daniel Boone Homestead.

For more information or to reserve your seat on the bus call 610-562-4900. The Daniel Boone Homestead is located off Route 422 near Baumstown at 400 Daniel Boone Road, Exeter Township.
